Manifesting: Don't Use Willpower, Just Imagine

Hello. My name is Joseph Alai welcome to my channel. And today I'd like to talk about manifested action or inspired action versus our power. This is a very important topic. Many times in the beginning, I used to imagine something. And then I would try to force the thing to come to pass myself. And what I've found every single time is that my willpower or my forceful actions will be futile. They be worthless, and I will be met with extreme resistance or failure in the thing that I... That I'm attempting to do. And on the contrary, imagining something and allowing it to come to me, I always find that it is absolutely perfect and effortless. And I wanna give you a couple of examples. So I'll give you the most recent one. I desired a an epic brand new laptop and I needed one immediately so I was planning on purchasing. And it was kind of fuzzy exactly what I wanted, but I but through fear, I ended up picking one that was a little less quality than I desired to have. So anyway, I ended up picking it and I ordered it online and I did overnight shipping. And the... And that was it. So the next day... I'm sorry. An hour later, I get a phone call. It was from an employee of the company from which I ordering it from, and they asked me to verify that it was actually me that made the purchase. So they said they sent me an email. Please go on and respond right now while we're on the phone, and then I'll have it shipped. So I... It was... Immediately, I started to think okay. What is going on here? And I said really nothing. Okay. But i it was just an indication like there is some type of barrier or boundary in the way right off the bat. That could have been a red flag or not not necessarily depending on what would happen next. So I went online. I was while I was on the phone with the guy, and I responded back to the email that he sent me and I said, yes. I made this purchase. But when I was on the phone with him, he did not get the email. I we waited for five minutes for ten minutes, he never got the email. And I said to him, okay. Listen. I sent the email. I need to make sure that this is coming tomorrow because I'm gonna take off of work, and I need to make sure that I'm gonna be be there to get it. And he said, oh, yes. No. Absolutely. It's definitely gonna come tomorrow. You paid overnight shipping, it's coming. And this was, like, ten o'clock in the morning when I made this purchase. So, okay. He said, I'll respond back to the email as soon as I get it. So I I never got an email back from him that night. And then the next day, I had taken off of work so I could wait for the package. And it was crucial that I had gotten that package that day because the next day I was gonna be handing in my work let work laptop permanently, and I needed to get my files off of it and transfer to this new computer. Long story short, I get an email the next day the day when I am home from work waiting for it and then them telling it's coming the next day. So right away, I was like I made the wrong decision. This is what happens when I'm forcing something. And so I called them up. And I said, listen, you know, whatever. I said, listen. I need this laptop. Can we... You know, I ordered this this this this and they were like, that's not where you ordered. So again, there was a mistake in the ordering. And then after that, I was like, okay. Well, I needed this model chip because I'm a software engineer and I do some things. Oh, you didn't order that. So again, the thing that was ordered was messed up. They messed it up. I knew right off the bat was like, this is a big mistake. And... But yet, there... I was like, when's the refund policy? They were, like, twelve days. I was like I don't really feel like having my money tied up that long. I'll take it. But and and then there were more problems. Shipping problems. I said, okay. Can you have it shipped too? Can you just drop it at my house? No. We can't do that. Can I pick it up at Fedex? No. You can't do that. Can you drop it off from my work? Yeah. We could do that. When's it gonna come. Oh, I can't tell you when. And this was a Friday that was my last day before it took leave. So one thing after the next issue issue issue, finally, when the thing came, I turned it on. There was an error with the with the Windows key code. So when it's stolen it, I guess so I have to get a new one. That was a problem. Then they had set my administrative password inside Dell. Before giving it to me and they didn't include that password in there. So I'm a software engineer, I need admin access my computer. Again, they wouldn't give it to me. Then the the programs wouldn't open because I didn't have a version of windows that that was necessary again an error a mistake then I finally got everything running, but the computer didn't have enough memory. Because they messed up the order. So one thing after the other after the other after the other was a huge mistake. Finally, I kinda lost it. I called them. I said I wanna return this thing. And immediately no issue with the return. Quick. Effortlessly, the email came to me with the mailing thing that you taped to the box and you send it in. So and then that day, I went to... I went and bought a laptop instant, a perfect laptop. Right I got my macbook pro. No problems. Cheap, three or four times as powerful as the other one that I had just bought and it works right out of the box perfect. So that is what I'm talking about. I imagined for a good computer, but then I went in and I tried to buy something a little bit less than I wanted. And that was the problem. I did not get the thing that I imagined for, and there was great resistance coming in. And I'll give you another story. So I was... I had imagined... I had moved to San Diego. I only had a certain amount of money. I needed money before my rent was due. I wasn't gonna have enough. This was however long ago. I took a leap of faith and came here. I imagine that I would have money within two weeks. I wanted money within two weeks and and so I imagine I imagine imagine and then I kept taking action. I kept taking action. I kept trying to go, you know, sell my services On a software engineer web developer. I tried going everywhere. Making sales making sales I ended up getting a job, but normally, you know, they hold your first paycheck for two weeks after it's due, so that's talking about, like, four weeks after the job even started and I was gonna get my check, freaking out freaking out. Although I imagine though, I imagined, right? So even me when my back is against a wall, I do get nervous, but I do know that imagination creates reality. I knew i get that money somehow now, but I was taking action. I was forcing action. Meanwhile, the job that I received came directly to me, like the first day at San Diego in San Diego. I went out with a friend, and I met a friend there, and they said, hey, we're looking for someone to start my company immediately a web developer. See, perfect. It was absolutely perfect. I had to do nothing. I started right away. I didn't need to even do an interview process. And so let so just keep in mind the difference. I'm running around trying to get sales. Doing everything that I can and meeting a lot of resistance. I finally find a client. He's gonna pay me it's like a thousand bucks for some small amount of work. And I'm on him. I need that money. I need that money And can you give me that money so I can start. Long story short, you know, I'm working at this company. That's like effortless easily. Came to me perfectly. No issue. Good good pay rate, whatever. And So that two weeks comes up and I didn't get the money that I needed. Then the rent deadline started coming down. I was like, oh, my gosh what's going on here. I'm still calling that client. I'm like, y, let me get that money so I can start your work and I could pay my rent. You know, I didn't say that, but that's what I'm thinking. Whole time still working at that company. The day before the rent is due comes. Didn't get the day rent came... It was a Thursday, I was at work, and that would have been the end of the first pay period, and I'm thinking okay two weeks until my check comes. They they ended up printing out my check right right down in there and not didn't take any taxes out because I was a contractor. And I think I... Like I said, I wanted, like a thousand bucks. I ended up that day getting a check for, like, twenty seven hundred right off the bat And then as soon as I left work, the other man called me and he brought me my check, which was for a thousand. So I asked for a thousand I ended up getting thirty seven hundred. And if you could... Like, there's a few things about this story that are interesting. Like, my actions were met with sincere resistance, like, big time. What I had imagined was already coming to pass. There was nothing that I could do to get rid of that. But yet, I was frantic and running around and doing a bunch of crazy things to try to get what I needed. But in the end, it was already there. All I had to do is trust and allow it to come to me like it was. And then the third story I wanna tell you real quick is after that job, like a year later, I wanted a different job. So I put my resume online and I imagined that I would have... I would I would be gameplay employed, I would have a specific amount of money. And so I went online, put my resume on and then I email all these different companies and all these different recruiters. And, you know, I was getting some context here and there, getting these first interviews. And then someone called me, and they told me that it was for a company called... Well, the company was in the addiction space. And as a software engineer making this salary that I desired, and right that in there, I knew that that was the job that I was gonna get. Less though, still applying for all these companies. The interviews were going wrong. I would do great on the first round of the second round and then they put me with a a hiring manager, who I couldn't understand. Like, literally, like, i couldn't understand the words that he was saying. So we just seemed like, all these things were going wrong. Because I was taking this forceful action to to try to control and manage my life when I had already imagined the thing that I wanted. And that thing that I wanted came to me perfectly effortlessly. It was something that in in a space that I know a lot about. And it was for position that was perfect for me. And in the end, that's exactly what happened. I got that position, The one that came to me effortlessly and easily and it was all through imagining. So, anyway, listen. I just wanted to to kinda give you the overview of these stories so you can see firsthand what it's like to imagine and receive versus taking this action to try to get the thing that you want. The action that we take in this world is futile. It's worth this. The thing that matters most is imagining, it will come to you perfectly in mostly. Those situations that I was in, everything was so easy. There was no effort involved. Ever. The things that I imagine. They came to me and it was better than I could have imagined in those circumstances. And so when we imagine, the that we take is not going to do anything. We will be met with resistance. Imagining, imagining the end, feeling like we really have it and them releasing it. We then sit back and carry on our life, don't think about it. Don't lift the finger and watch as these things come to you. When they come to you, you could take action. But don't force it. Don't force it. So I hope you enjoyed this.
