Who operates Alai AI

Alai AI is operated by Joseph Alai. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@alai-ai.com.

Information we collect

Account and profile information

Email address, display name, authentication provider identifiers, account role, preferences, consents, timezone, and referral or attribution codes. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not visible to Alai AI.

Goals, conversations, and practice content

The goals, desires, answers, Advisor and source-chat messages, generated plans, practice sessions, streaks, reminders, bridge events, manifestation records, List Method pages and items, Assumption Stacking patterns, evidence, transcript notes, and other text you choose to save.

Photos, handwriting, audio, and community content

Optional handwritten-list scans, manifestation proof, bridge photos, Subconscious Mind Injection recordings and scripts, profile images, and community posts, comments, photos, or videos. Private content stays private unless you deliberately choose an anonymous or public sharing option. Public submissions may be moderated before display.

Purchases and subscriptions

Product, entitlement, renewal, subscription status, and processor customer or transaction identifiers. Alai AI does not receive full payment-card numbers. Payments are handled by Stripe on the web and by Apple or Google in the native apps, with RevenueCat used to reconcile native entitlements.

Device, communications, and usage information

Push tokens, browser push subscriptions, notification and email choices, delivery and unsubscribe status, app platform and screen context, feature interactions, onboarding and purchase-funnel events, crash or request diagnostics, and security logs. Server and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and similar connection data. Alai AI does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information.

Device permissions

• Camera and photos: optional, for handwriting OCR, proof, bridge records, and community media.
• Microphone: optional, to create private SMI recordings.
• Notifications: optional, for requested reminders, check-ins, streaks, replies, and account messages.

You can deny or revoke these permissions in device settings. The core video archive remains available without granting camera, microphone, photo-library, or notification access.

How information is used

• Authenticate accounts and sync private work across devices.
• Provide the video archive, Advisor, chat, goal planning, guided practices, reminders, journey, evidence, and community features.
• Generate AI responses, analyze user-requested patterns, retrieve relevant Joseph Alai sources, read handwriting, and moderate opted-in public media.
• Process purchases, enforce entitlements, restore subscriptions, and prevent billing fraud.
• Send emails or notifications the user has requested or consented to, and honor opt-outs.
• Measure onboarding, activation, retention, and purchases; diagnose reliability and protect the service.
• Comply with law, enforce terms, and respond to safety, fraud, or abuse reports.

AI and service providers

Information is processed only as needed to provide the requested feature. Providers may include Google Firebase and Google Cloud (hosting, storage, Vertex AI, Gemini, Discovery Engine, Vision OCR/SafeSearch, Video Intelligence, and Analytics), OpenAI when an approved model route is enabled, Stripe, Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, Brevo, push-delivery providers, YouTube for user-opened videos, and infrastructure vendors. Their processing is governed by their own terms and our service arrangements. Do not submit information you do not want processed by the selected AI or infrastructure provider.

Public sharing

Goals, chats, practices, audio, and uploads are private by default. A List Method item enters the public feed or high scores only after a separate opt-in. Community posts and selected media are public by design. Anonymous display hides the public name, but Alai AI retains the account link internally until the contribution or account is deleted so it can be moderated and controlled.

Legal bases where applicable

We process information to perform the service you request, based on consent for optional communications, permissions, and public sharing, for legitimate interests such as security and product reliability, and where necessary to comply with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Retention and deletion

Account content is retained while the account is active or until you delete it. Selecting Account → Delete Account removes the Firebase identity, private user and customer trees, private uploads, public List Method feed entries, high-score rows, community identity and contributions, and linked Stripe and RevenueCat customer records where configured. Public aggregate counters may remain only in deidentified form. Store subscriptions must still be cancelled through Apple or Google; deleting an app account does not cancel those store agreements.

Limited transaction, security, abuse-prevention, backup, or tax records may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required and are then deleted or deidentified under the applicable retention process. See Delete your account for both in-app and web-request options.

Security and international processing

Alai AI uses authenticated access controls, private-by-default storage rules, encrypted network transport, environment-isolated credentials, least-privilege service accounts, and moderated public projections. No system is perfectly secure. Providers may process data in countries other than your own using the safeguards available under their terms and applicable law.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete many records in the app, disable email and push, revoke device permissions, opt out of public feeds and high scores, manage subscriptions, export information by contacting support, or delete the account. Depending on location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy. Contact support@alai-ai.com. We may verify that the request comes from the account owner.

Children

Alai AI is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact support if you believe a child has provided information so it can be removed. The store target-audience declaration may impose a higher minimum age.

Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a new date and, where appropriate, communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after a change is subject to the updated policy.
